Cat will cause some restriction. Even if its a race cat or so what. So I tooked my chance and cram out every hp I could. 02 sensor sits on the catback exhaust. The way I had mine done is it bolts right up to the the factory headers and factory exhaust so I didnt have to touch that. All I had was an 02 simulator up to it. I dont what but I like it. BIG difference in power with this mod alone. Average price is 350 to 430 dollars depending on shop. Mine was bented and welded with flangs to fit like a factory Y pipe would incase I want to put a stock one back in with no mods required. I also had a thick heat and water proof paint coating on it with flex pipe in place.. Mines 3 inch pipeing.

Gabe sold me his 2.5" y-pipe, it looked about like yours. Added significant seat of your pants power, especially mid RPM. With the unequal lengths, I think it gives it a bizarre sound.

Enjoy.
