I believe they are. I called to order a bored throttle body yesterday and he did ask me if I was auto or manual. He's going to order me one as well as another auto, so I'll see if you can check them out.

If anybody wants one, you should call him. He's got a list going and I'm number 1 so far. I know he's got some emails, but I think it's much better to call.

Wait, so he's getting you the throttle body AND boring it out? How much does that run total?

Yes, he's going to pick up some throttle bodies, then I'll send him mine once I received the bored one. I'm not sure what he charges for "core" price, but it'll be refunded when he receives your stock TB. He's looking for a manual now, but he said it might be hard to find. I'll post back up when he calls me back in a week or so. Please call him up because he's starting a list now, plus it'll be alot easier and faster for us. :D

Yea, Jim told me I was the first 1MZ guy and once you guys showed real interest he would invest in some cores to reduce the turn around time.

So, for those that have this, did you have a higher idle as experienced by the thread starter? I know after he dremmeled it the idle went down, but still not to normal.

I was the first to have this mod and my idle has never been a problem.

My idle is back to normal now that I have modified the throttle rotor. It is more like it was stock. I think when the modded the throttle shaft to fit the new plate they messed it up a little and made the rotor touch the roller keeping the plate open a little.

Has anyone done this with a 3MZ yet? Or used a TB spacer? Could it be that I'm just asking totally stupid questions because I don't know what I'm talking about?

Ah, you're the other one! Jim said there was another SG member who had ordered one.

So, he said they might ship out today? That's cool, I'm in no real hurry.
