I asked the guy if there was anything else that would work for it and he said no. Only the Pre 1996 5S-FE engines can support their set-ups. 97 and up 5S-FE has a different ignition set-up. The terminology I forgot. Something to do with "Internalcoil" won't work.

I would not get it used unless I know the guy that used it. I would just get a new one and have the warrenty that comes with it.

I got my MSD igniton today, and put it in.. and I LOVE IT! I can't wait to see how much more of a differnece it makes w\ my 7 pound pulley..
the ignition is a BIG help
