i got the same response from them yesterday. they told me that sometime in may and that the only reason that they put a part number on the headers was to see if there would be any intrest. i got quoted $329 for the headers and $22shipping . seems pretty good...

Very sweet. If they actually do get produced for that price, I am most certainly in

lets keep this up and eventually theyll have no choice but to make them!!! :evilbat: but does it do anything to just call? or do we actually have to e mail them? hopefully we can make this go through.

i am however, curious as to the specs of it. i hope that we dont lose low-end torque. either way, for that price....it just cant be beat. 8)

As long as we are blowing them up with phone calls and emails, then that shall realize how many people want these headers. With headers you will loose some low end torque because of less restrictive flow.

i went to alot of stores to ask for quotes on the headers and they also called in. So i guess OBX heard from us and from those stores too. As long as there's demand, there's gonna by supply.

why don't you fruitas start a new thread so everyone doesn't have to read through all the clutter...

Someone get a place to do the groub buy

Post the group buy with quantity/price/contact info

Set a deadline for people to jump in for the deal

Collect payment OR have it sent directly

Receive POS... err... OBX headers for dirt cheap.

I'll stick w/ my JPP ones, thank you very much!

hey jeff, did you feel that you lost some low end torque with the jpp headers? im just curious cuz i dont wanna lose too much. do you think that it was worth it to buy the jpp ones or would i be better off getting in on these obx headers? just wanna see which would be a better deal in the long run if i ever save up enough money to do what rizal, joe, and greg did to their cars. what do you think?

Judging by OBX's previous products they are mainly rice. I look forward to these headers though and if they are of good quality, produce good sound, and increase horsepower, I say go for it! The price is very good!
