URD Lightweight v6 Crank pulley released!

Postby Astro » Sat Sep 10, 2005 10:50 pm

Man, I guess that's lucky. Wow, 260 to the wheels! So, I wonder where I'd be? (Milton, if you're out there I'm coming for you...LOL!!!) I'm in North Hollywood and I'm having my parts installed at a tuning shop in El Monte called Autolink. I was worried there wasn't anything either, thus I've waited for so long. Allen (ufoz) recommended this shop and they have worked a some Solaras before. This made me confident in them and they have been known to do some quality work. So, if you're still interested in putting any more parts on this shop can do it. But for sure, I'll post up my experience and how the work turns out.

OK, I got my LW pulley on tonight. The LW as I said before weighs less then 2 lbs. and the OEM weighs right at five but feels like more.

I have been doing a little tuning with my EASE OBD II tool and I've got the new MAF installed also. I took her out for a short test drive and I must say I'm very impressed at the performance increase thus far. Again my thanks to Gabe and JoeB for their efforts.

Wil you really gain HP with that? IS it really worth the money i mean that money could buy me a CAI, which would be better for HP gains? Hey is this a S/C add on or is it for NA cars as well?

its for n/a cars and supercharged if you have one. From what I hear the gains can be better than an intake but you'll end up buying both anyways so dont worry about it, intake is a lot easier to install. Other sites say around

the Hp you get out of a mod like this is all dependend on how much hp you have prior to the install... this will give you a percentage of your power back

also.. its not a huge percentage.. its a relativly small percentage.. but if you have a decent Hp.. then it goes a ways.. its a good mod for anyone really.. but the more mods you have the better the results will be

Did anyone try installing this themselves? Was it hard to install it? Any tips on a DIY?
