Body kit. . .more aggressive??

I'm from San Jose and I see Solaras here every 3 minutes of my life. But you know what's really weird? I visited Toronto last March and I counted 3 Solaras out there. I rented a Ford "sucks dirty donkey's orifice" Taurus there and I missed my Solara so much the whole time. Is it because of the timing? Not many Solaras come out during that time or something? Hey Toronto people, can you somehow explain that? I just think it was a weird experience for me.

Nice city by the way, it's like a clean version of San Francisco :drinking: minus the roller coaster-like streets (which are fun)

Oh, I like your Gold Solara, but I'm not sure about the body kit. It looks like a baseball cap worn by an Amish guy. Doesn't belong for some reason. Just my opinion.

Sorry if I offended you. No, the car parts which are made in Taiwan are not necessary ugly. But the most items that are made in Taiwan are very low in quality. (such as a brand of clear corners) I have no problem with other products such as video cards that are made in Taiwan. Like you said, the car stuff ain't their thing.

Up here in Canada, you don't see as many Solaras because Toyota don't even have commercial for it anymore. There are quite a few old people drive them up here. The chance of spotting a Stage 3 is more rare than spotting a Porsche. In Vancouver, there are lots of M3's, lots of Type R's, and lots of people who can't drive.

Toyota doesn't have commercials anymore either in the US. I see solaras a lot but i've only seen one other hooked up solara in person.

yeah, there are really not a lot of solaras over here (which is a great thing for me!)
and the chances of spotting a stage 3 are MUCH more rare than spotting a porsche (actually, you see more porsches than any solara, TRD or not)
i think its because theres so many rich business type people, most wouldnt 'settle' for a toyota

That sounds like a local dealership commercial, not a Toyota national commercial.

lol..i actually just saw a national toyota commercial advertising the 0%apr..i forget what they called it..something toyota nations..blah blah blah...one of those "visit your local toyota today!!" kinda ads :D

y do u guys say they don't have toyota commercials anymore? i don't watch a lotta tv, usually the only time i see any kinda commercials is when i'm on the computer and my lil sis has the tv on. they don't get alotta airplay, but considering i see then a decent amount of time, they gotta be playing them a decent amount of times.

it's definitely not a local dealer ads...one of the toyota dealers in the area does them, but the ones i'm talking bout is the actual toyota company commercials.

You're right Missay, I just saw it too. But it didn't say anything about the Solara on the one I saw.

 That body kit just does not do it for me either! I rather keep my car stock. If it was free I would use it to run over with my car out of pure satisfaction. My opinion only. If you like it, it's all good to you. There has got to be an even flow of rice out there and that just adds to the list.
