Carbonall wrote:Thanks for all the replys. We are kicking around doing the trunk first. We might do with a spoiler we don't know yet but definatly the trunk! The price will be about $475 and that is with the full carbon fiber skeleton. Not a black gel coated fiberglass one. All our mounting brackets with be reinforced with Dupont Kevlar. Once we get started it would be about a week and a half to two weeks till the tooling and the molding is done. We garuntee all our stuff for fitment and also quality. Plus these will be all vacuum infused not open molded.

SICK!!! and $475 is a good price

You know I'm in for the trunk!! Can you guys make a rear window roof spoiler for the Gen 1 thru 2?

See this rather long thread for details.

For this spoiler mod I'll trade my 19 year old daughter and $350.00..

Thanks

I have had 4 people PM me about fenders as well. We are still considered a small operation and we will have to tackle things one at a time :) The main reason, our manufacturing processes make us use certain types of molds. Each mold costs us over $2,000 in materials and labor to make. So fenders would take 2 molds. Not saying we need a lot of people I just have to make sure there is a market for the item. That is why we need some good interest and some commited buyers before we can start on some stuff. We will figure everything we are going to make and from interest and commited buyers, that will decide what will be made first. Just to rest some of you, before a group buy is started all my information will be posted with phone numbers and email addresses. Any of you will be able to contact us for any reason.

How about a Carbon Fiber gas door......I would be interested in one of these rather then wrapping the door lid in carbon fiber or putting some stupid TRD looking generic gas door decal on.

I would assume this wouldn't cost much to make as it is small and a simple square just about.......

I know you a probably getting a kickback for helping a company sell a certain amount of product and probably receiving a free item or reduced price. It is not beneficial to denounce another company that most likely does offer a better product. That is the whole reason we all drive Toyotas. The trunk you are promoting is like a Ford while the trunk Carbonall is promoting is like a Toyota. People will decide for themselves. I myself am not in the market for any carbon fiber product because I know for myself even if I replaced all the panels in my car with carbon fiber, even with my supercharger and all my other goodies it's still not going to be a fast car. It sounds like carbondall has a good process down and from the research I have done on carbon fiber it sounds like they have it right. As I said, let the consumer decide. Speaking badly about a company or person only makes it seem as if you had something to hide. Jon.
