Re: V6Performance.net Car Specific Ground Wire Kit *56K Bewa

"StockSolara" The Gen 1 Solara's 1MZ and 5S has the grounding kits made. . . From my impression these are really some high quality grounding kits. . . As you can tell from the pictures. . . those are some bad donkey connectors and man when you see them in person it's like omg. . . It took us from 10:30am-3:30pm to finish both cars but it was worth it. . . Garett is a really nice guy. . . he has really done his research on the best grounding points for cars and connectors and terminals to get. . . I will have more information posted and pictures of the 5S motor. . . Of course for those questions typical stuff like did I feel any gains. . . Of course it felt like I gained 2 hp 8) . . . The thing I noticed was that my car starts up really easily. . . It usually takes like 2-3 cranks and now its like 1-2 and its on. . . The rpm looks really steady and everything. . . Even with my system and all those electrical goodies. . . the lights were nice and bright. . . The best of all it looks really clean 8) . . . For those of you that are wondering these kits will run you about $120. . . That might seem high to majority of you but you have to look at the craftsman ship in those 100% Nickel Connectors and positive & negative terminals :D . . . All I have to say is this is one bad donkey grounding kit. . . 8)

Did you notice whether the grounding kit had any effect on the idle when the air conditioner is running? I'm sure you notice every minute or so when the air conditioner is on, the condenser will kick in and drop the rpms, with a little bit of rattle.

I don't know if that has to do with the electrical, or if that is just a mechanical issue.

The AC does that since it draws a lot of power hence making the rpm drop a bit or make the car nudge a little at a red light. Its normal...

Im not sure if StockSolara would feel much of a difference in this particular case since the ground wires arent actually giving forth "more" electrical power

anyway, post up the results StockSolara! :D

When I was at a redlight today after the engine has warmed up. . . I remembered about your question and I turned on the A/C the rpm went up a little
