just take some time and think seriously...

is it really worth months of income to fix up your car?

To me, yes (to a certain limit)

 I'm 23 and got 3 kids. Not much older than you.

As Jeff said. There are limits.

Please don't take my feedback as crul but just "constructive feedback".

Think about it.

Kung, for me the pride in customization comes from doing it all myself. I'm not a real handy person, but with some guidance from ppl on the boards I've been able to do some sweet stuff and save some money. Simple things like installing an amp wiring kit, building my own sub enclosure, or rear 6x9's in a gen 1 kept me busy and I enjoy showing off my own work. I'm on a college budget which you'll find out is SEVERELY limiting, so DIY is my way of making projects affordable as well as more satisfying.
