strut mounts

strut mounts

I had Tokicos installed before the mechanic did not tell me the strut mounts were the ones that were bad, not the shocks. I have the clunk
problem still. The dealer said warranty expired even though it was a factory problem. How much is the part item and where can I get them?
Help.

Part is around 90 for aftermarket and 115 or so for OEM. What will really suck is the labor. The strut assemblies have to be completely removed to install the mounts. Several hours worth of hard work.

I've got the same problem. Toyota told me $111 per strut mount. Schuck's/Kragens/Checkers only carries the front strut mounts, not the rear. Toyota is the only place I've been able to find these and I'm still looking. Aftermarket? Where?

Would you be able to get some info from them on a set of rear strut mounts for me? Just to verify, I need the part at the top of the spring that the strut goes thru and has the three bolts on top. Thanks,
Josh
