and yes you can convert to 5 speed and if you got 40g's you can throw in your supra engine

soulassasin9928, unless you have truckloads of $$$, the supra swap is within reason.

however there have been 2 members here that have successfuly done the auto-manual trans swap. however for this, be prepared to spend $2k-$6k. (rough estimate.)

Yep! depends on if you want a new tranny or salvaged and how much your installer is going to charge you.

If you search first you will find what you are looking for on both topics. Do we need to call this www.solaraguysearchfirst.com or what? :lol:
