Bubbling on reverse indiglo gauges???

Bubbling on reverse indiglo gauges???

Postby toy4x4boy » Fri Sep 24, 2004 6:03 pm

I seem to have some "bubbling" around where the screws go in and also around where the center of the needle is so I know I didn't tighten the screws too much. I don't remember seeing any plastic that had to be peeled off the new gauges before installation. Was there plastic to take off or does anyone know what I am talking about? Thanks!

Ouch. Is it discolored when lit? Did you notice that before you instaled it?

Yes you can see a difference in color when lit but it's not as noticeable as it is during the day time. It was not like this before I installed it or even right after installation.

I would say try backing the screws out a little, but you already mentioned they werent tightened down hard. Also check if something from behind the gauge face is causing the bulge. If thats not it, I would go back to the seller/manufacturer and ask for a replacement.
