Wood Grain Steering Wheel

Wood Grain Steering Wheel

Postby 2HOOD4U » Tue Nov 23, 2004 1:16 am

I have a tan steering wheel and it gets dirty pretty easily. I'm wondering if anyone has upgraded to a wood grain steering wheel maybe from like a Lexus or another Toyota. My interior is got custom leather work and a wood grain shift knob and parking brake handle. If anyone has any info it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I believe Outkast's Big Boi said it best when he said...

"If you ain't got no rims nigga, don't get no wood grain
steering wheel"

search for happyaggies post (Arief's post) he changed it to a celica's 3 spoke wheel. That gave instructions how to do a swap. I'm guessing all the info. to replace wheels is there. As far as anyone here doing it, i've got mine wrapped (steering cover) that 14-20 bucks is easly on the wallet than buying a new wheel+airbag+renting a wheelpulling tool! (guessing here, i'd say easy 3 bills).
