05 Project Plans

05 Project Plans

Well. I'm in good shape to handle finances well and now there's a chunk that will be piling on later by the end of 2005. So i'm debating if I'm gonna either shove this pile on a loan for a RWD car like the IS300 since I've been getting lil eager to kinda go into the "ART of D" or else keeping my 2000 I4 solara and suit it up like a monster. Well mini-monster considering its got an I4 engine hehe.

So here's 05 Project Plan if I'll stay with my 2000
Grab the SDS Rippmods S/C w/Header and tran cooler.
TEIN SS Coilovers
A nice set of 17" wheels with good tires that can handle at least 20K-30K
New Paint Job and fix all the fuxing dents taken from arses in my city. (Dark Metallic Blue?)

Else

A nice but suitable RWD type car.

This will be my early New Year's (BLANK) errr what do u call it?? lol oh well someone fill in that blank for me plz!

On a P.S. note my 2000 is an auto trans but i still love it considering how rare the 99-01 models are especially when modded.

Opinions Plz.

I love the look of the solara, and the price tag of it as well as what you said about it being a rare car to see modded, would make me keep the solara and mod it. I love my solara tenfold more after mods than stock. I haven't see more than 2 other Gen 1 solaras with atleast an exhaust mod or wheels, in my area of South Florida. I just saw the other day a white Gen 1.5 with chrome rims just like my car (mine still looked better  ) , but no Gen 1s.

Yet that RWD V6 is tempting! :D

An IS is really nice, my friend has one and he's thinkin' about sellin' it; but not sure yet for a Supra TT.
It only has an SRT intake, 18'' rims and HKS Super Dragger exhaust, and some H&R springs wit the white TOKICO shocks [the 5-way adjustable].
But he only thinkin' out loud about it.
It silver, oh yeah and it has a nav system in it.
It fast though.
I love that car.
Wish he could "donate" it to me.
2000 Solara SE auto V6. Diamond White Pearl.
Top Speed Run finished at 130 mph. :o

Keep the Solara! 8)
I'm planning on getting my coilovers and putting Junest's '04 stock rims. I'd also like to change the fuel pump and do that free mod.

Indeed. The only downfall so far on my IS300 Research as I kinda been researching this car for a long time ever since it reached the states from Japan finally after so many generations even though the body design is like 9yrs old or something. Because the IS300 is known as the Toyota Altezza as a compact sports sedan featuring an awsome I6 Engine like that to have of the Supra engine thats got an RWD transmission. Can't really find the technical engine names since i don't have my data in front of me but yeaa..
Its crazy enough if you some of you didn't know, HKS does have a 1000HP Toyota Altezza project car that was used on certain import tour races. Its a Dark black with blue/red/white strips on the body featuring the HKS insignia.

But I'll dream about that. But yes. This is a very good resolution to me or else i'll be sitting on my arse with a very fast PC instead when the money goes bye bye.

More opinions pretty plz :)

Coilovers going in this Mid August. I wonder how bumpy my rear can take on the road. Looking at Enkei wheels as I feel they're the strongest type of Wheels to hold up on roads even if there's a slight bump here  Debating if I wanna use good tires or stick with a mild option until later as I want to have some good mileage on the tires first.

In regards to setup settings. http://www.solaraguy.org/viewtopic.php?t=19041

I had the shop do it for me since they're a certified TEIN dealer in the city. The drop was about 2.5" from what the guy told me. Seemed pretty steep but when I went to my car. It sure looked much more even and cleared. Almost thought it was gonna bottom out once I exited the place onto the main road but it was very tight on n smooth to turn on to. So far. The first day. SWEEETTTTT
