Wheels Spacers?

Postby camcar se » Fri Jan 14, 2005 2:10 pm

I am going to go with a Moteg DP6 wheel I think. Anyway the specs on that are 18x7.5 with a 45mm offset. Iwant my back to be out further from the strut than that so I was curious.1
1.Who all is running with spacers, what are you using and how are they.
2.Is there any down fall to spacers.
3. Whats a good Brand.
4. Should I put them up front to or do people not ussualy do that.
and lastDo I have to buy anything else, or what, like what about the studs, do I have to get longer ones or do the spacer kits come with that.
THANKS, Brad

don't use spacers that are not "TRAC+" in the front. there is a tendancy for them to sheer.

however in the rear, spacers are perfectly fine. no name for a company comes to mind, its just a piece of swiss cheese metal! just make sure they are all of equal size in width.
