OK here is the deal before I learned about injen I got an HKS maf adapter and filter with a vacume fitting. I made another hole for the small vacume line to make my short ram intake. Later on I decided to try rj's extention (valentines gift from the GF) it works well the HKS 200mm Super flow filter fits wonderfull (I was afraid it might be too wide) all I had to do was make another vacume port I used a brass threaded plumming fitting where the blue line attaches.

Also some of my friends have got on my ass about the stock resonator. I took it out and replaced it with 2.75 inch pipe. I felt no difference in power and I thought it was way to loud. So back in it went.

Good ingenuity. maf relocations can make the ecu act funny and has been known to make the car stall while driving. Hopefully it will be okay.

Yea when I had the bypass valve where the blue coupler is It would not run correctly weird :o probably because the airflow was not steady but it did idle fine it was just the reving. I tried to keep the sensor in the same place as stock. So far I have only had the cai sense monday but no problems yet, the short ram I had for about 3-4 months no problems I hope it stays that was.

Also I noticed very nice gain over the short ram esp after the car has heated up and considering the 20 degree weather we are having here I am now getting lots of cold air.

GUY and I did it this way because I got the filter and adapter from ebay for 60 shipped and the other stuff I had around the house from other projects so I only spent 175 on the whole project. Unlike some I have bills that my parents don't pay.
