Taking a look at some of your Solaras and I'm liking the yellow tinted fogs. Im talking the ones that actually tint the lens.

Is this a spray or a film tint? Do you take it somewhere to get it done or do you DIY? What do you use if you DIY?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah. Only lasts a day or two... but for that day, you'll be teh pimzor!

I recall reading a post about this - Milt recently did it with his car. From what I recall, there's some kind of film you apply, cut out, and then heat-apply on with a heat gun or hair dryer?

milt is correct.. the film is really thick and not like window tint that autozone sells..

i got the tint for about $60 bucks.. for a 24x24 sheet. I then cut it myself and applied it to the fogs.

I also used the tint on my tail lights clear blinker part also my corners over the amber reflector to the end of the housing. Looks pretty cool...

Nice. I dont think I need anything too thick, so the autozone stuff will work fine. Not sure if I'll like them either since I never seen yellow tinted fogs on a black car yet, or if Ill like the all-clear look better. Im glad its a film since thats way its not ultra-permenant. $60+ for a 2 cuft sheet is kind of a rip in my opinion though, but I gotta say it looks hella nice on indigo's. I'll give the autozone stuff a shot though.

Thanks for the info.

Link to the place myself and June went to...... She had her fogs done blue..... If you get the sheet and do it yourself It might be cheaper.... Hit them up......

I just checked the site and its listed as $19.95 to buy, I might be looking in the wrong place (Fog Light Kit) but I think thats a good price and the shade of yellow looks nice in my opinion.

a
Gen2 only though as far as I can see.

I checked autozone. They had some 80% yellow tint, but was in the same packaging as the rest of the window tint. It was 15 bucks for a huge roll. I almost bought it, but the two boxes of yellow they had were taped up, not sealed, and one obviously was missing about 70% of the roll. I decided to hold off and roll to the next autozone on another day.

For 15 bucks its worth giving it a shot.
