Both are good.
Volk is in pure racin' same as Works rims too.
It really up to you on what design of rims you like.
I'm really undecided.

Both are equally strong.

From experience, I"ve seen 2 LIP (not rim, only the lip!!) bends in mine and a Super Fine Forged rim... (Volk)

No experience w/ WORK except for seeing them... they are AWESOME!
1GR-FE ftw!

I had a rather lengthy discussion with some wheel (Toyota) experts when I was looking for my new wheels. We discussed the forged versus non-forged, vehicle weight, vehicle use, vehicle horsepower and torque, FWD versus RWD. I think most of you know where I'm going.

When you do buy your new wheels ensure you buy what you need for your vehicle and not what you don't need. None of us are John Force or Greg Anderson  I am Greg Anderson, so we have different requirements for our vehicle. I think if you do a little research you will find that you can get a great looking light weight set of wheel that fit your needs at a very reasonable price. It doesn't have to be the most popular name brand to look great and fit your needs. I found in my research that wheel designs cross all companies and the only real difference in most cases is price.

Now if you got money to burn then.... 8)

Good Luck..

i chose volk but both are good, i personally like volk a lil better, they were nice when i called them for my friends 300z, he also liked work but customer service was bad, though it has nothing to do with the rims itself but no matter what u choose you should be happy

I would say both and like most of responses we all agree they are both good and respectable companies.

Both are (mainly) forged... here are benefits of each type...

Cast = Cheap, will NOT bend... but will break.

Forged = Expensive, lightweight, will BEND but will NOT break.

Mag (Magnesium) Forged = Super expensive, Super lightweight and will bend, won't break.

---

If you go w/ a "combo" type wheel (ADR), make sure the SPOKES are forged and the lip/rim is cast... if the rim cracks and the spoke is ok, your car will at least land... if the rim is fine and the spokes break... you're boned!
