I have a set of McCulloch HID 5300K, and one of the bulb was lost on my accident.
I've searched Ebay and found out that they have a lot of bulb for sale, so question is:

Can i buy any make of bulb or it has to be McCulloch?
Also, do I have to buy bulb with 5300K to go with my ballast, or I could go higher or lower temp?

(I know it has to be H4/9003 for my flatform)

Thanks all.

For second question, I've found the answer from Kevin, bluesolara. The ballast got nothing to do with the temp of the bulb, so I guess I could go with whatever please me.

Search is good.

^^ exactly has stated over...just make sure you change the bulbs in pairs (and don't do the ghetto - buy a single bulb with same k rating).

If you buy one 1 bulb the color would be different because one bulb would be color shifted.

i had 5000k before and one of the bulbs broke. so i paid anouther 50 beans and bought myself 7000k bulbs. so no problem swapping them unless you want 12000k. the 12000k use some diffrent parts compared to the lesser rated Hid's
