"?" on re-clearing rims

"?" on re-clearing rims

I got a set of used SSR comps(that gunmetal color) but the clear coat on the rim lips are cracking off. Its only on the lip, is there a way that I can strip just that part and re clear it? I can't sand it cause the lip is machined.

Thanks,
Brian.

gimme $ to paint it!
haha, nah, still waiting on the springs, RJ told me he would mail them last week...gotta call tomorrow...so drop it, fix the rims, THEN the kit (I want the parts on the car and not sitting in my room taking up space). Don't worry, I'll be cruis'n Waikiki soon yealling at the Japanese tourist....yeah right.
