Difference in clear corners??

Difference in clear corners??

Postby KRNguyW/aSOLARA » Sun Apr 24, 2005 2:54 am

Im looking at getting clear corners but i see some go for $20 or so and some go for up to $80+. Is there a difference in quality? For ex:

I'm 16, making car payments, paying for insurance and gas so EVERY dollar counts. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm on my 4th set and I did buy them all at different places. The new ones I ordered are exactly the same as the others. There isn't any difference, just pricing. The quality is all the same too, they all seem pretty cheap but that's all we got for clear corners. I personnally just bought one from the 4th ebay link. Great seller and really fast shipping.

Theres only two kinds of clear corners. Theres the "clear corners, which are actually clear, and theres the "euro corners" which look just like the factory corners, but with the orange reflector removed. (these are ribbed like the factory lens, and also have the cutout for the orange reflector, but its not there). I prefer the "clear corners" since our headlights are "clear" as well and it flows better without the cutout for the reflector.

Youll find both on ebay, and for pretty cheap, and theyll all have condensation problems before you reseal them. The expensive ones are just guys looking to turn a higher profit.

DEFINITELY do not buy the clear corners for $80 . . . that is a fricken BIG tyme ripp off! Astro is right about them all being roughly the same quality . . . you shouldn't be paying more than 25 bucks for the set. lataz

Just go find the best deal on Ebay. When you recieve them you should check out the quality and if it doesn't seem to be done that well. You should open them up and reseal them back together with silicone.
