Looking at possibly getting the axis hiro and wondering #1 what will it look like if i put 18x8 in the front and 19x8.5 in back? Good or bad? ALso my car is the red/maroon color, should I go with the silver or gunmetal? Dont have a bodykit mind you, I want my baby as low as she'll go.

9.5 wont fit.. i test fitted 9" in the rear and it didn't fit even with the correct offsets. its too wide...

8.5" is the widest i would go..

18x8fr and 18x8.5r the difference is minimal..i had a staggered fitment before and i was running 18x7.5FR w/215/18/40 and 18x8.5R w225/18/40..you could really tell that my rears were wider and it had wider stance.. if i can find an older pic i'll post it..if I were you I would not go staggered unless you got money to blow(cause you can't rotate tires) and honestly why blow money if you don't have too..i mean our cars our not rear wheel drive. ya know..hope that helped out bro.

Ok so the best bet would be the 18x8's in front and 19x8.5s in back. I hope it looks bad ass! Still split between gunmetal and the silver. We'll see. Anybody know what kind of a thickness difference there is beween a 35 series tire and a 40? Is it pretty big? ALso what kind of handling differences will I see between running the setup i mentioned and just having either 18's front and rear or the 19's? Sorry 1LOKEDOUTSLE--the biggest they come is 19. ImageHeres a pic of the rim, whaddya guys think? I might put on a bodykit I have, im not sure. Its pricey to put those suckers on...

you gotta think about the situation in the long run..if you plan on keepin the car and those wheels for a long time comin' then yeah do it..it will be clowin' but...big BUT, if you trying selling those wheels (say you get tired of them which you will, happens to all of us  ) you are going to have a hard time selling them..and with 18's you'll need 40 series tires..35's will make your wheels look tiny..even with a drop..and trust im talkin' from experience.

I didnt even think about selling them someday...Im curious will 18's fill the wheel wells without a kit? Say I put on 18x8.5's( i think they come in that configuration, the site i was looking at before was wrong) with 245 40 tires, what will that look like? Dropped to the ground of course...I ask because I notice most guys with kits put on 19's, but I don't know If i want a kit or not. I want that low, wheel well filled look you know? Also Im thinking with 18's I can lower the center of gravity a bit more than with 19's. True?
