i have not done it yet, but i plan on starting this weekend. would anybody like me to make a tutorial on this because they wish to do the same to their altezzas?...

and for the ones who havent looked at the topics about it before. its basically painting the surfaces around the lights to match the color of the car.

I dont think hes talking about smoking them. Hes talking about opening them and painting the chrome/black chrome/fake CF to match the color of the car, and resealing them.

yep thats what i plan to do. im gonna pull out the heat gun/ hair dryer and see if i can get them open that way...after ive done some experimenting ill let you all know what happens.

well, surprising they are pretty tough...heat gun only could open them so far but not far enough...my plan b came into effect..break them open and then have them build a new piece of plastic at a shop .. lol

I think 10 minutes is way to long for them.

Maybe 2-3 minutes tops. Our stock Foglights are about 1 minute if I remember correctly

...I feel like im writing a recipe or something...
