Dyno numbers

I think that the thread that was locked out was harsh but I must admit that I would like to know myself. I think it was uncalled for but I think many would like to know what numbers are being put down. It's natural curiosity. I emailed JoeB but he didn't respond. I'm not insinuating anything so please don't take it that way. I am mesmerized by the work being done. Would JoeB, Greg and Rizal be interested to post this. If not, I understand. There a number reasons to not want to. I myself would like to brag about this to the toads at work.

Peace, Paul

Paul, I'm not sure what email address you used, but I never got it. Nice to hear from you again, been a while. I don't really have a decent dyno slip but I did post my 1/4 mile slip. Since my previous dyno of 320, I have made improvements and am quite sure the new number will be higher, just don't know what and don't want to speculate. Between working out issues with my suspension and an extremely hectic work schedule, I haven't had time to focus on the car. That includes not making it back to the track since my run in the spring. I will make it back to the dyno sometime and definitely to the track. My goal all along was to get the Red Knight into the 12s, that's what I'm shooting for. -JoeB

I too have posted my 1/4 mile time slip and have achieved 282.1FWHP and 303.5lbs. of FWtorque with the TRD Supercharger. My goal like Joe's is to get "tabasco" into the 12s. I hope to do that soon with my new setup and will post results after the project is completed.

LOL, you nailed it Scott! That is the biggest problem. If you look at my 1/4 mile slip, you'll see my 60' is very slow for a 13.3 ET. I really have traction issues and have to baby it off the line. Even after a good burnout that leaves me cleaning rubber off the side of the car for a while, I still spin like mad. It's sickning to see the guy beside me blast off in front but I love it when I go ripping by. 8) -JoeB

I knew the old timers would come through. Sorry to be a little sneaky but it seemed like we were headed for a little crisis. Thanks for responding like th Joe I know. To the others, no need to get upset and come off like a hater.

Rizal, keep those videos coming. Joe, you will do it. Greg, appreciate your hard work. To the others, I've learned much from you all.

Its funny you mention that Joe because I meant to tell you at MIR that you're spinning tires little less than 1/8 mile of the way down the track! :o HUGE POWER! We'll see "Red Knight" in the 12s for sure.

Turbo!!!!! Can't wait to hear.
Someone needs to school JB on suspension. That is his weakest link right now. Poor guy, 60' foot times bring a tear to my eye.

I totally agree dude. Many of us look to the leaders of the pack to see what works and respond accordingly with our comments or cash. I respect everyone on here if you have been builing your car for one day or the past ten years. You never know when someone wil stumble on to something to benefit the community(Anybody remember when cattma made y-pipes !). Every piece of information about building up the platform is critical to the end result...more perfomance. All the guys who custom built parts and told the forum their results are critical and should be appreciated if they found success or not. This is a rarely modified platform in comparison with other FWD sedans(Maxima,Accords,TL,GranPrix) they have numerous options and many parts we could only wish to have mass produced! I posted a while back about any problems and the mileage you have on your boosted 1MZ FE. Didnt get a whole lot of press... that cool. I was looking to see the cost vs. longevity of boosting. I was already boosted so I just wanted to now when sh!t was gonna start blowing up. If we had some FAQ's on boosting the 1MZFE maybe we could generate more of a following or save some poor sap a blown engine when he throws on a S/C and 9lb pulley on his moms used Solara with a 190k miles just to race some(civic, mustang, camaro, integra prelude etc)!

Anways for those just starting here are my 2003 #'s
238 fwhp 222 tq. They are not big, but sometims it's all in how you work it. I will dyno next month since I have added a good amount of stuff the last few years. I will post no matter what.

Sorry for the long post. Please dont let the passion and competiton die.
