AEM conversion for solara

I have quite a few friends with AEM units. Lately i have been ripping all my car apart redoing the wires for a new system. So the other day I got bored and ripped out the ecu and reading a pinout for the AEM. So far from what i can tell we could use this with some wiring and changes to the maps. Has anyone else looked at this or even considered it? I might snag a unit and work on getting it into another solara.

the aem unit is universal you just need to know how to install it. the aem unit is pretty much a stand alone unit. the only reason why i would see you using an aem unit is if your running hardcore engine mods. other than that i dont see why you need it.

Yeah, but the standard ecu just dont cut it. Wana get something better in the car. Would help alot in getting to higher power levels.
