Brushed Stainles Steel Door Sills and Dead Pedal

Postby Pilyo » Thu Aug 18, 2005 1:43 pm

I have completed my brushed stainless steel door sills and dead pedal cover.

The door sills, I mounted an alumininum TRD emblem, purchased directly from TRD Japan at $20.00 each. The door sills are sweet and has a very sophisticated touch and the look of authenticity. The dead pedal cover a patterned off a template I made from the existing dead pedal. The dead pedal is a mount on application, choice of using screws on each corner or adhering directly to the stock pedal via RTV SilicOn. Lots of it to ensure adhesion.

The door sills, is a replacement, mounted via red/automotive grade 3M adhesive/mounting tape and a bead of RTV Silicon along the edges to make it waterproof. The results are aesthetically sound and pleasing. A definite eye candy in a subtle way. I will post pictures as soon as I get a USB cable from my cam to pc.

Below are the cost:

Brushed SS Door Sills (pair)

TRD aluminum Emblem (pair) $40.00 (optional)
Brushed SS Door sills (pair) $40.00
3M Mounting Tape Automotive Grade $6.00/roll (I used 2 rolls)

For $40.00, I would be more than happy to provide you with blank brushed SS Door Sills. You can apply your own graphics suited to your personality. And purchase the red 3M tape and if you want an artisans level of work, finish it off with RTV Silicon sealer. We will just figure out and add shipping and handling.

For the Brushed SS Dead pedal cover, I made it with "penny sized holes along the center, a total of six, 3 per side, total cost for the pedal is $25.00. You can use remaining RTV Silicon to mount it or use the screws which I will provide. Again shipping and handling will be added to final cost.

I will include intructions on how to mount the products. THESE ARE FOR GEN. 1 APPLICATION, I DRIVE A 1999 SLE V6.
I CAN MAKE OTHER GEN, PROVIDED THE TEMPLATES ARE FORWARDED TO ME. THESE ARE ALL CUSTOM MADE. MADE PER ORDER BY MY TRUSTHY SHOP APPRENTICE.

Order the set and save on shipping. I will post pictures ASAP!
I am in the Queens, New York area, The production process is all pro level, I have a shop and we fabricate stainless steel and aluminum for home and food services needs.

PM me or email if you are interested.
