IMHO, I haven't tried it, but it is usually used on cars that have race pipes or there just running without cats. Yep this should get rid of the O2 problem that has plagued your car. I take it that your rollin with this unit as we speak. Good find Bro.

Usually this is needed to get the proper readings to the factory ECU/PCM (engine computer) to run properly. It tricks the ECU’s O2 (measured vapors) readings so the proper amount of gas/timing and throttle position are applied correctly (to get the engine to run right and avoid thing like hesitation, bad idle, surging or just getting the darn thing to start). This keeps the CEL off so your car will run smoothly with out polluting the air (the emissions junk).

Yep...And our cars, one of the worst cars to Tune IMO because of lacked aftermartket supports and toyota technologies, Just adding a cat back and injen intake will 100% (base and everyone Ive asked with these mods at least) cause a CEL ligth due to our sensor not being able to pick the signal up...

Im going to try it as soon as I have some money. Its worth a try. Becuase I would like to have a CEL when a real issue comes up to let me know rather always have that light and not knowing when a real issue pulls up..

The worst thing about this CEL is that the engine could be reading that the system is not getting enough fuel. So in return it is dumping more $$$ gas in the chamber to fulfill its need to fire right. In which then the plugs eventually will foul out/ sludge up the oil. Number two if the conditions are in the lean state, the exhaust will burn so hot that the catalyst will be burnt out. This Cat is listed for $2000 (just from experience... Thank God it was covered under the OEM warranty). I’d get this resolved before all these things happen. Besides it cost less. Take care Bro.

This is not for people who had only intake and exhaust. This is for the second cat, which is after catalystic convertor.

This is for people who are running straight pipe (or dummy cat, or hollow cat) or forced induction.
If you dont have the O2 simulator, it will trigger error code P0136. Which is the catayltic convertor efficient under threadhold. That is a very common problem among turbo cars. As long the voltage fluctuate between 0.5-0.6v, it should work.

I had a similar device from O2simulator.com and it only cost $35.

I am not running a cat and it took a couple days for me to get the code. I got the PO420 code though, can't remember the details, but it basically says the cat is not doing it's job, no $hit. Just for any newbies reading this, the after cat O2 sensor, does not contribute to fuel trim, timing, performance, etc... So the O2 simulator will get rid of the CEL so you don't have to look at it.
