Custom Kick Panels for 3 way speaker setups

Here is a pic of the kick panels I made for my gen 1.5 Solara Image

They are angled just right to give the driver (me) a perfect sound stage. I might not even need a center channel! They house a Morel cloth dome midrange http://www.renaudio.com/carstereo/MR-56.htm and tweeter http://www.renaudio.com/carstereo/triumph.htm (woofers are in factory door location http://www.renaudio.com/carstereo/WR-6.htm ). It took me 6 hours to match the vinyl to the cars interior as the fabric place had 10's of thousands of colors. Add two more hours of custom color matching with spray paint for the custom grills I had to make to fit the panels. It now sounds like you are right in the center of the stage when the artist was performing. The factory tweeter location is dredful, because it is pointed right at your ear making it so that is the speaker you most hear (very bad).

Oh, don't miss the custom leather shifter boot my mother stitched up for me when I went to visit her recently (aren't mothers the best?).

Very nice!

P.S. Tell your mom that I will buy another shifter boot just like yours if she is willing to make one! Seriously, just let me know. :D
