Yes I've searched around and all I could find is info about what other people have as far as an aftermarket clutch but that's not what I want to find out since I already know what I want, however, what I want to know is, how many of you are Supercharged and still with your stock clutch?

It turns out that last night I got my SAFC installed and was getting my car dyno tuned but the shop was not able to complete the tuning because the clutch kept slipping so I was wondering how many of you are Supercharged with stock clutch.... and who tha heck can get me a good deal!!! LOL

Now, the only reason I ask is because the guy at the shop believes that either the engine has too much power for the stock clutch, or the ABS system is trying to apply brakes to the front wheels since the 2 rear tires are locked. Although he was 90% sure it was the clutch and I was surprised that no one in the forum has mentioned the clutch as being a necessary upgrade for when you go with the 6psi pulley or is it? maybe my cars just needs one after hitting the 100K club hu... anyway, thanks for reading this far and talk to you guys soon.

I know of two guys who had S/C with 5.5psi pulleys + a few other bolt on's since their Solara's since they were new and neither had clutch problems when they got rid of them at 60k and 90k miles, respectively. Having said that, I think the problem is getting up around 100k. Mine was slipping at 115K (S/C on @ 100K), I think other SG members are about the same.

I think its the clutch not the ABS. our ABS doesnt work like that. After 48k boosted mile( 88k total) , my clutch doesnt feel the same(to be expected) as it did when I first got the S/C.

I'd love to get some feedback on an upgraded clutch as well. ACT,Clutchmasters etc. Also what the conection with teh MR2 Turbo. Isnt it the same clutch ? If so feedback from the MR2 boys might be something to look at. I'm looking for performance and longevity at a good price :D . You are right Rene, install pricing is ugly... :o

Well, I've had a Clutchmasters Stage 2 for several years and I've had no problems whatsoever. And that's with 273 fwhp, so we're talking about a lot more than stock hp.
