Suspension Bolts

Postby Ford_Fixorrepairdaily » Tue Oct 04, 2005 8:07 am

I ve been having probs with my jic suspension, mostly the right front. It seems to bottom out any small bump. I think the problem could be the bolts on the struts. THe shop that i actually took it too about a year ago stripped the bolts or something and replaced it with something smaller w/o my knowledge. I called a couple toyota dealers and theyre no help. THe parts representative that I talked too insisted that it was the camber bolt, but I dont it is. Its (2) 22mm bolts that belong on the strut. I was wondering if anyone has had the same prob and would it really effect the performance? Any help is appreciated

im having the same problem with my driver side one. it seems like im bottoming out on small bumps, its like a clicking noise as if something is loose, but i have taken it to two shops and they say its fine and nothing is loose...i don't think that helped, but i just wanted to share that so you don't feel like the only one..

Thanks man I appreciated it. I adjusted my suspension and made it a lil higher the problem went away , but only when im at a higher height. It should be able to handler the lower height no prob. Im gonna take apart my suspension and inspect it again. Thanks cdeez
