I thought T/T setup wasnt supposed to have any camber issues.

Sure sounds like camber though.

For camber adjustments, do you just put in some cam bolts into the struts and then that can adjust the pitch of the wheel? My mechanic said that "cam bolts" or camber bolts are the only thing you need. Is this correct?

don't think you need anything for alignment, the suspension by itself should be enough to get it all straightened out.

alignment

Postby Sentinel » Sun Oct 23, 2005 2:09 pm

You should definately have had an alignment when you got all your springs/struts installed, and its a good thing to do every once in a while. Kinda like balancing your tires.
Too many times on too many cars have I realized WAAAAYYY too late that I should have rotated/balanced or aligned the car. And ended up with ruined tires.

keep an eye at the ride height of the car, a saggy suspension can also lead to irregular wear of the inner walls on tires.

check the struts out, if they are blown, they will also create a sagging effect leading to negative camber., oh yeah, and the strut mounts, if they are worn out, that has also caused negative camber before.
Geeks get it done, while Nerds whimper and call for mommie.

update: camber was at -1.5 the eibach bolts were the wrong size!! the mecanic instead modified my stock bolts and turned my camber to -1 so hopefully this will help the wear.

returned the camber bolts....all is well.
