So I modded my car. Im 5 speed too. Mods are simple stuff so no need to ask :)... My issue is a solara redline is 6200 RPM... My when I take it there it seems as if Im already passing it.. BUt the needle is only at 6.. Does modding your car causes RPM to change My car seems to do fine up to 5800K... After that its like the cars redlined or maxing out wierd.?

our torque curve peaks and stops there then decreases. thts wat u could be feeling. our autos automatically shift at 5900 rpm(at least mine does). thts all i think it could be

Yeah my auto shifts at like 5900 RPM's.
Only on regular dirve an droppin' the hammer.
But if i manual shift it; it seems like it shifts at almost 6000 RPM's.
2000 Solara SE auto V6. Diamond White Pearl.
Top Speed Run finished at 130 mph. :o
Too many modifcations for the signature.
