Ok here is the thing, I notice that everytime it rains my intake seems to sound differently. I would think it's because it may be getting wet, but there is hardly any space for any water to get to it. So I just wanted to see if any of you guys have experienced something like this, and whether or nor I should be worried. The car never stops running normal and the sound remains loud for a few miles even after I've gone through all the wet areas. I would imagine that the heats makes the water evaporate and therefore I dont see why it would make this noise, any thoughts? thanks in advance.

Its probably because 1. The humidity 2. Rain projects sounds and makes them louder.
