Levoc Shifter, need some help

Postby Guest » Tue Jan 14, 2003 9:58 pm

Well my shifter came in today and i couldn't wait, i had to go put it on. By the way if your interested in getting a Levoc, RSVersion.com has them for $72. Anyways, after puttin everything on and connecting the two wires, i noticed that the O/D button doesnt do anything. the O/D light is always lit and it doesnt want to come off. for now i just left the wires taped and hanging because i dont know what to do. am i damaging anything by not hooking up the wires? what do i do to resolve my problem? Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

One difference i noticed about my levoc shifter compared to my stock is that the stock O/D button was on/on. Meaning that each time i hit it, it changed something. The Levoc is On/Off. So to switch O/D on or off I have to hit click it twice

A little trick i noticed though is that if you just tap it, it'll switch O/D on or off and tap it again it'll reverse it. No two click necessary

I think that's the way the o/d button works. Mine also have to tap it too

someone want to fill me in on what a levoc shifter is/does?
is it just a different 'shift knob' for autos?

Yup, it's an aftermarket replacement for our fugly shifter.
Not worth $100 imo.
