Header Install HELP!!!!!

I have JPP headers and y-pipe I need some help for the install I already removed stock headers but how do I put the new one on what do I have to remove somebody help me Thanks.

Um it straight forward man.
After you took the stock headers off it like puttin' it back on.
What so hard????
Don't forget to use anti-seize stuff on the O2 sensor.
The hard part would be the rear headers.

You did the right thing by stepping up and buying the JPP set, they are expensive, but you get what you paid for.

Anyway the front and Y pipe pieces are a breeze but the rear is pretty tough as it is a tight squeeze. It is kinda like a puzzle to get it in place. I would wait to put on the O2 sensor until after the header is installed. The little EGR pipe is a little tricky too but just go slow and be patient. And the anti-seize is a good idea. Some of the nuts are a pain to install but if you have a set of short ratcheting box ends that helps on the rear bank.

They should.

They are NOT carb legal, however there should be inputs for the sensors.

Properly installed, the JPP setup won't adversely affect emissions to the point that you would get a CEL and so unless the inspector thinks your car is too loud or checks under hood and is sharp enough to see you have headers you will get away with using them. In my neck of the woods the DEQ (Department of Environmental Quality) check on OBD2 cars only involves plugging in their scanner to be sure the emissions system is ready and shows no faults which would lite the CEL. They also look for visible smoke and if the suspect you car has an aftermarket exhaust they check noise level.

My car has no cat, but is uses a oxygen sensor simulator to fake out the ECU. Without a cat my exhaust was too noisy, so I switched out the Magnaflow rear muffler for a Dynomax. Same power, a lot less noisy. I blew through the DEQ test no problem. They would have crap bricks had they known they just passed a car with no Cats! HA!

The JPP would never be legal for the street on my car and most, California cars especially, because it has no forward cats. The primary cats light off quickly because they are so close to the exhaust ports so that fuel mixtures can be adjusted sooner by closed loop mode. Not all of our cars have primary cats however. But they all have primary oxygen sensors, and the JPP headers have a place to install them.
