Another clutch thread, but this time...
I know there are countless clutch threads because I am on most of them. But, what I want to know is does anyone know why the higher stage clutches are the ones that are segmented.
For example, a puck style clutch vs. a stage 1 or 2 that is a complete circle of material. Assume that the clutch material is the same.
Also, just as an FYI, I took off my Fidanza flywheel because it was making a scratchy noise on engagement. There were a couple of hot spots and I am not sure what the problem was that caused it because Fidanza's can handle a lot. Put the stock fly back on and it works great with my stage 3 clutchmasters clutch. I don't have the light quick revs, but it is more comfortable to drive and I get some of the torque back.
O.K., that's enough.
