HIDs are a difficult upgrades on the solara because you have to decide whether you want to lose hi beams or spend the extra money. Ebay has a few nice sets of no name brands for $325-350. I'm not sure really if brand matters but i would look for a good hella or phillips ballast

I used HID Plus and it looks great.
I heard McCullogh is nice one as well.

I got mine from ebay btw.

i found a couple on ebay called HANABI. does the name brand matter? they offer a 5 year warranty on their bulbs.

I think you just make sure they have a good ballast.
Mine is Phillips, Hella is a good brand too.

There are two main balast manufactuers, both which are good. Hella and Phillips. The bulbs commonly are phillips bulbs so brand really doesn't matter as long as the specs match up
