It works, but more than likely you'll run lean. The diameter of the piping is a little too large for the MAF to accurately read.

intake

Postby trd4life » Thu May 11, 2006 11:07 am

With no fuel controller of some sort yes you will run lean. with a fuel controller and injectors, a huge intake tube is a good thing.

I dunno, i wouldnt really trust a lot of ebay products.. bad experiences.
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

UGH I must say dont trust ebays so called intakes, I was dumb enough to purchase one not even to do research on anything. I installed it and my engine didnt even start. Im pretty car savy and all... and had it connected right but it just didnt start.

I now, have a Injen SAI and love it, but soon to be replaced by a CP-E intake!!! :O)

I have one at my place I never installed, still in the box. If someone wants it just pay shipping and it's yours.

Well if we consider it that way that ebay runs lean. THen Injen intake IMO is big too. Would it be better to custom our factory intake to where the bottom end was a big pipe to pull in cool air?
