Well doin' research on projectors.
Was lookin' at the Bi-Xenon projectors, was wonderin' if i would have to redo the wirin' for it to work wit my car????
Or could i just get some TSX projectors and use them wit the H4 HID kit wit High and Low beam????
And would the TSX projectors look good wit a High and Low function HID kit????
Thanks for the input.
And yes i have already searched on here, and on HID Planet.
Joined HID Planet a few hours ago.
Let me know.

I'm gonna be honest. I have a friend that goes to school with me and he retrofitted his headlights(2003 Solara) and he got an hid kit too. If you like the look of the of the projectors that is good but to be honest with you it is not worth it. Just buy an hid kit and put it in your stock headlights. They light everything way better. And yes me and him tested this out. I hope i helped you out a little bit because i was about to get mine done then i seen the results and didn't like it.

i have a few D2s Kits but you need to rewire your H4 connectors to 9006 and try to get the Bi-Xenon part to work on the projectors

Just slappin' on HID's in a reflective headlight is wrong cause you can blin on comin' drivers. :-?

"krawzyazn" well i was thinkin' about the Bi-Xenon projectors. And i would have to re-wire the H4 to 9006......

I'm learnin' more and more but need more input to learn.

you don't redo the wiring..the lazy way ^ which can cause problems later is written up there..the right way is to make ur own wiring harness, which needs two relays so the stock wiring becomes remote wires..
Or could i just get some TSX projectors and use them wit the H4 HID kit wit High and Low beam????

no
And would the TSX projectors look good wit a High and Low function HID kit????

no, h/l on real hids works differently than the hid kits

Thanks.

D2S bulbs have better output than D2R..
explanation:
D2R was made for hid reflector housings which has paint on some parts of the bulb to reduce glare.
D2S was made for hid projectors which the bulb is clear.

ok but those projectors aint exactly dim. and you cant tell me that you have not been blinded by one of those luxury cars at night with projectors. Beside look it up they use reflectors on the acuras for a while(01-03 tl, 01-05rl) look it up.

cutoffs only decrease the chances of blinding other drivers. it's impossible to elimate it. even halogen headlights blind people sometimes. just depends on the situation. i have been blinded by real hids, but it's only for 1-2 seconds and i can still see the road. reflectors on those acuras use D2R bulbs, which has paint on them to reduce glare and again it's impossible to completely elimate.

Well not i haven't been blinded by HID's of another car.
Only from the back i've been blinded by halogen bulbs because they have it aimed high....

"geminimouse" thanks for the input on the 2 diff types of bulbs. :D

Oh and i forgot, wit the D2S bulbs don't they have high beams too????
Cause i want to keep those.

with hids...the bulbs doesn't have low or high beam.
how it works is
when u trigger the high beam -> the cutoff shield is electronically flipped open = high beam
