Do any custom hoods exist for our Solaras? Possibly something with a functional scoop? Just wondering...

I seem to recall reading something not too long ago about someone have their carbon fiber hood clearcoated. More specifically, they were going to get 8 layers of clear coat, and the general consesus here was that any more than 2 was silly. However, every one of these hoods say they're already clear coated. So, what's the deal then? It seems to me I could buy any one of those and just bolt it on. Is that true?

What I've been thinking would be great would be to buy one of those, and then paint the lowest areas black to match the car. As in, the area behind the headlights. Then, from the width of the grill to the width of the windshield would remain carbon fiber. I think that'd look fantastic. However, I wonder how much it'd cost. Hmmmmm....
