Get Brembo rotors.
And for low dust get semi-metallic.

brembo rotors definitely.
as for pads, if i had to choose a second time around, i'd rather go with EBC red stuff pads.

right now i have Hawk HPS pads all around, but i have to modify the rear pad bracket in order for it to fit.

Wait...

What?

You can modify the rear brackets to accept Hawk pads? What year is your Solara? I guess you're using pads meant for the '99, huh? Do you have any pictures? Wha'd the work cost? ..etc..

i didn't "modify" it yet. the pad fits, but the bracket it sits on DOES NOT.
i hate to openly declare this but,

....i'm going to dremel the bracket and sand it down to smoothness.

the correct thing to do would be to just get pads that drop-in; but i'm too lazy to send these '99 pads back, and am determined to make them FIT!
