Reverse Glow gauges....

Postby SleeperSolara » Sun Jul 30, 2006 8:12 pm

Well I had my reverse glow gauges in my car for about a year i think.
Now yesterday i've noticed that on my "mph" and "rpm" gauge the numbers are dyin' out.
On the "mph" gauge numbers 20, 40, 60 are faded in the middle of the numbers.
On the "rpm" gauge the red in the redline is faded now.
This is all when the gauges are lit up at night.
I have them wired to my ciagrette light thingy, cause the bulb there burnt.
I rigged my dimmer switch to work wit th stock one.
What do you guys think could cause this??
Thanks for input.

i would have said a bad inverter, but that would jus blow out the whole thing... one thing u could do is find another power source and see what it looks like. otherwise u might jus have to get a new one. luckily theyre only ~20
