TRD Kit: Mold or No Mold....

Benefit to cost ratio what do you guys think? I have a guy willing to mold the entire TRD kit onto my factory panels for one clean look. The main reason I want this is so that the kit wont pop up at the corners or anything. I want some imput on it first though.
How durable would it be? Would I be better off simply bolting it in so I can take the kit off if I need to repair it?
Rich u should know alot about fiberglass molding
also is there anyone on here with a gen1 with TRD kit molded on?

Didn't Astro mold his side skirts on? Maybe he can chim in and give you some insight.

In terms of the edges coming up, I haven't had a problem with that, just need to get something to protect the side skirts and rear valences from debree kicked up from the tires.

nothing wrong about molding...... and it has to be done right, to prevent from cracking...... and you know it will cost you more to fix......but my suggestion is don't do it. :drinking:

im talking about the edges coming up like the rear pieces toward the center they start to come up ( they dont sit flush with the car ). For some reason something like that really bothers me :P

I wouldnt do it just because if you plan to part out the car the kit would be worth alot of money and you would want to get your money back out of the kit incase you part out.
