Getting dash kit for Christmas.

Getting dash kit for Christmas.

I'm torn between these two companies. I've done some searching and found lots of info but narrowed it down to these.

In this thread http://www.solaraguy.org/viewtopic.php?t=24332 the suggested company is American Dash.com (http://www.americandash.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_59&products_id=192)

My other option is the MimoUSA product, which can be found on many sites including eBay. This one is the cheapest I've found. http://www.autoaccessorystore.com/home_n.asp?dir=detail&id=637&wizard=&s=&mid=. <~~~ The Mimo product has this elaborate explanation of how their product is better but I'm not sure. Here's the link to it http://www.autoaccessorystore.com/alumdash.htm.

Does anyone have experience with these companies or products? I'm going to be ordering the brushed aluminum set.

Thanks,
-Anthony

haven't heard of either...

just keep in mind that if the kit doesn't sit 100% flush, it will probably come out looking cheesy...

I don't think Joshua Tree makes it in any other style for our car. I'm looking for the brushed aluminum or even a solid black. I'll email them and see what they say while I'm still searching.

Getting a wood dash kit for Christmas

Postby mikee7 » Sun Dec 03, 2006 9:51 pm

I got a wood dash kit from www.wooddashexperts.com for around $130 shipped and it has allot of quality and fits very nicely on the dash. I would recommend them for a dash kit.
