hello peeps ...quick question most of us are using 235/35 on our 19" wheels ...had nybody use 225/40 on theirs ...?????

It really depends on the width of the wheel.
When I had my 19x7.5" wheels I was running 225/35 Falken St115's.
But with 8.5" or even 8" I would run 235/35..

yeah thats true about the width butim talking about the height most 19 are 35/ Im asking has anyone gone 40

If you want to stick closest to stock diameter then 235/35 is as close its going to get..

or 225/35 which is only a little shorter...
using a 40 on 19's is going to make your wheel taller and throw off the speedo and may also cause rubbing issues...

This is in term of using the wheels on a gen 1 or 1.5. Gen 2's can use 40 ot 45 on a 19" and be fine since they some with a larger wheels diameter from the factory..
