Tein/Tokico vs Eibach/tokico

I don't know if this topic has been explored but i just wanted to see what everyone thought of either configuration. I recently changed from eibach/tokico to tein/tokico and felt a significantly softer ride and was wondering if anyone else feels this? when i had eibachs i had no body roll at all and now it rolls.

I thought teins were supposed to be stiffer than eibachs.

You also might want to check if you got the counterfeit teins like hskr says. If they arent built to the same quality, it might explain the roll.

Well this:

http://www.raceinspired.com

is where i order my teins and as far as i can tell, its def not as stiff as the eibachs i use to have.. the website doesn't look like a business to rip off its customers, maybe i just got a really crappy set, but that still doesn't add up, when i had it installed, the spring compressed normally and we still had to use a spring compressor. I am so confused.

Eibach were 1.6" all around while the Tein is 1.7" front and 1.4 rear..

The spring rate is softer on the Tein compared to Eibach. Which is why your getting the softer bounce...

The Eibach/TRD were the springs I had at first and they were def. stiffer then Tein...

But I like the Tein's ride since it wasn't as harsh....
This is from personal experience.. But if you get the spring rates for both I know that the Tein's are softer...

Yea i agree the ride is better, but i have the nostalgic feeling of wanting more cornering power, i guess you only know how much you like something when its gone.

What would you guys say about eibach/tokicos in the front and tein and tokicos in the rear? would that just be crazy talk and not feasible or could that work? I would think it would because the stiffer front would allow the rear to swing out more, thus creating some artifical oversteer, correct me if i am wrong here.

Why not just get a Front Sway bar by Whiteline to make that correction...

the FSB would make the front stiffen up and help create artificial oversteer? If i were to get it should i get 24mm or 20? i know 24 is harder to fit but is it worth it more to get that?

^ Uh no. You want a RSB if you're looking to induce oversteer.
