check engine light

I have had some issues with my check engine light since I put on my SC. The first day that I had it installed by a toyota dealership the check engine went off after I drove it around for a few hours. I took it back and they told me that a vacume hose came off they fixed it and I never had any issues until I put on a 2.75 pulley. The first time that I hit the top of my rpm's the check engine light started flashing, then it turned off. The next day the check engine light came on again when I put the pedal to the floor. I got pissed and took the 2.75 pulley off and put the stock one back on. Then I disconnected the negative on my battery and pushed on the brake to reset the ecu. I tried driving my car hard with the stock pulley on and the check engine light never went off. I recently got a 2.9 pulley. At first I drove it around for a few days and the check engine light never went off. Then one rainy day I decided to do a burn out and it instanly set off the check engine light and it stuck on, so I reset the ECU again and have been driving easy. A few days ago I nailed it and the check engine light flashed on for a second and then went off. I can't figure it out. Could it be the air to fuel ratio sucks and is running too lean? I am getting SAFC installed on the 24th but I am wondering if any one else has had simmilar issues with their SC. I am also running a greddy evo and a injen intake.

my guess is the S-AFC will help that problem
(upgrading the pulley without it isnt reccomended)

It definately sounds like you are running lean. I wouldnt push the car much until the Safc got installed.

You're probably running dangerously lean or you have an O2 or EGR sensor going out. It's best to go back and get the code read.
