it's so quiet...is there a reason why?
The ONE & ONLY Fully Loaded 2006 X Avalon Limited with Body Kit in CA = Special Limited Edition + First 2GR-FE rebored the throttle body (i think...)

That resonator is what helps it keep it quiet. As well as the insulation in the canister itself.

Unfortunately you can't cut out the resonator since it's all part of the piping assembly. You could however cut it out and have someone make a custom pipe for you from the exhaust canister to the cat. Do you want to make yours louder? If so, just get a custom y-pipe made and it will definitely make your Evo louder.

You can either get the Cattman Y Pipe OR you can get a good exhaust shop to custom fabricate one.
