To be honest those look like some real cheap 5 star hammers. Everyone back in the day put them on mini trucks....

Interesting observation...I guess that somewhat dates me, my last project was a '68 Chevelle back in the '80's.I still like the combination though. The style just seems to compliment the Solara's lines. BTW,what the hell is a 5-star Hammer?:)

Honest feedback is always welcome.Yah, they're pricey plus they're designed for the Benz so I doubt they would fit.As for ugly, I'm looking for something a little different than the requisite 6/7 thin spoke and thought the "dish" style looks pretty sharp. You say I could do alot better for the $,what would you suggest?

Yes, they are expensive, because, SURPRISE! They're Mercedes wheels! The lug pattern is Mercedes only, so if they were real Lorinsers they had the holes drilled out and a custom offset made (either by use of spacers, grinding the hub, or both). Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...but putting Mercedes wheels on the Solara is quite a display of having BALLS (and cash). :D

SC

(if only I had the cash to get the BBS LM's... :( )
