Ok here is what i gathered when i was looking to get some wheels.

18x8.5 shoudl have an offset of 38 to 35.

8.5 width=
one person had +37 offset and needed to cur rear fenders.

another with +35 had to roll fenders.

Overall-
8.5 width= 38-35
8 width= +40
7.5= +42 or lower
7= +45 lower

Because it's an FD, I'm assuming your friend is running staggered wheels; if that's the case, please don't put them on your car :lol:

If not, I THINK they will barely fit, and if anything you'd need to roll your fenders.

If u want them to look aggressive and diff from many other solaras. I say just roll/shave ur fender. They will look good.

If they are 42 offset, then they will fit the front but you will need a 10-15mm spacer for the rear, and those wheels do not look staggered but the tires do have different sizes. They would look hot!! Chan had those Konigs at one point.
